2013 Autodesk products are coming!

Yesterday Lynn Allen posted "what's new" for AutoCAD 2013, due to be available soon. While I'm really excited for the pending next release of Revit, we still have a need for AutoCAD and you may too. So go check out what's next for AutoCAD!

Revit Server plus Imaginit Clarity

Are you using Revit Server and looking to have multiple companies utilize collaborating on a single server? Then look no further because Imaginit Clarity for Revit Server will do just that. Not only will it help manage permissions to keep them from seeing Revit models they shouldn't, it can automate tasks such as printing PDF sets, modifying schedules and more. This is a game changer.

Now, if only I could have multiple Central Revit Servers, then I would be set. That to me has been the only draw back to date...

Rotating video taken on an iPhone in Portrait mode

So this weekend I was looking to combine some videos I had taken on my iPhone. Some were taken in landscape, others in portrait. I know, why didn't I just take them in landscape to begin with, right? Turns out, I'm not the only one who's come across this problem before. If you want to do this, basically convert your quicktime video into WMV format, then use Windows Movie Maker to rotate it 90 degrees, then you can combine it with your other videos.
