Project Vasari has graduated from a Technology Preview on Autodesk Labs to a full fledged beta.
We all knew this would happen eventually. We all know that after beta versions, they become customer ship versions. Those usually have a price tag associated with them.
For now, Vasari Beta1 can be downloaded for free still.
